This month was a seminal moment in our lives… on multiple levels.
I had just lost a thumb and forefinger due to a table saw accident- things were patchy rough, but not us. I had just proposed to Kashmir, and guess what was in the mail when we got back from the fair?
I had put in a proposal at a local hospital to provide perfusion services- and I beat ou the competition! Plus I won a free entry to the air fair from a a radio station. Kash and I got to hold a rope- that this stunt flyer would cut in half- flying upside down at 20 feet- with his tail rudder!
When I saw him coming at us- I didn’t care if I lived or died- there wasn’t a choice to get out of the way…
This was the moment that God gave us a second to get our heads above water and get that precious second breath of life. We took it- and definitely put it to good use.
